| Florida Trip '09 |
In March we headed down to Florida for Uncle Dan and Cindy's wedding!! The kids and I flew down two weeks before the wedding so we could hang out with all our pals for a week before crazy wedding week! Brian flew down a week after us and he actually came from a buisness trip to Germany - rough stuff :-)
The kids and I stayed with my grandparents the first week we were there! We had a great time! My parents flew down to visit friends and so we got to see them as well (thanks for everything Aunt Janet and Uncle Joe, the Great!!). That first week we did lots of hanging out at the pool! It was wonderful! The kids wore themselves out and had fun and my grandma and I had lots of time to sit and chat and just be together!
The following week Brian flew in and Beedi arrived and we then stayed at her house with her mom and dad (aka Grandpa Ralph and Grandma Polly). Then we were in full wedding prep mode. Though we did find a day to go over to Orlando to see Brian's mom and dad and Steph, Steve and the kiddos. It was a fun day! We hung out by the lake and the kids had a great time playing together. That night we met friends for supper in Winter Garden (Thanks Reagans and Kunkels...we had a great time).
The wedding was Sat the 21st of March and it was a beautiful day! Lot of sunshine...for an outdoor wedding the weather could not have been more perfect! Molly was excited b/c she got to help at he end of the wedding by letting a box of butterflies (ick) go free. Jack thought it was hysterical that there were tons of butterflies flying all randomly as his mother ducked crazily out of the way.
