Christmas Trip to NY

I know, I know, once again I am bit behind on the blog...we have been very busy the last couple of months. We left for my parents on the day after Christmas, Brian's birthday! And sadly had to spend the night on cots in the Chicago airport (an airport I plan never to return to - ever) flying on a United (an airline I will never fly again, no matter how cheap they are).

Ok, so now that I have that out (feeling much better), we can continue...so we finally go to my parents and had a wonderful time. We got to see my dear little nephew, JD (such a cutie) and Jamie and Josh. And Sara was even around for a couple of days so that was fun! We also finally got to meet my parent's new dog, Buddy. He is cute, with one ear that sticks straight up and one that lays down - silly. We attempted to take a picture of the three grand kids for my parents - it was kind of difficult to get all 3 looking at the camera and kind of smiling. The one at the top of this post was the best. We had a nice Christmas time all together. My parents gave all four of us snowshoes for Christmas - yippee - so much fun!!! Molly got an American girl doll from Aunt Sissy, that she named Star, "because she is so beautiful". We went sledding and had hot cocoa and basically had a wonderful time! Basically I wanted to go and hold my new nephew, and wow, he delivered...such a good sweet baby!! And let me just tell you how very proud I am of my dear brother and sister in law...they are amazing with JD...they take him everywhere, their lives have not stopped b/c they had a baby. They have just fit him right into what they do...he has even spent the night with Grandpa and Grandma Siglow already!! Seriously - you guys ROCK as first time paretns!! (Sorry I had to gush for a bit - love you guys)

Okay, so now back to the vacation, and it truley was...we just chilled and hung out together, it was awesome!! We also got hooked on Wii...wow such a fun and addicting thing. From Molly to my dad, we played it all the time and we laughed so darn hard. Brian and mom got really into a rabbit game, and we all really loved the golf, I think Molly could have a future in bowling, give the girl a toothpick and call her Pal (anyone? come on). anyway, it was fun! And of course my dad and I, and Sara while she was there did a giant puzzle (Brian says his hell would be an endless expanse of puzzles for him to do for eternity - funny). All in all a wonderful trip!
