SnowShoeing

The kids and I spent the afternoon snowshoeing through the meadow. It was a beautiful day after our two day snow storm, so there was lots and lots of snow to walk on!! So very pretty too, not a cloud in the sky and about 45 degrees!! All four of us got snowshoes from my parents for Christmas - what fun!! We really had a great time! It was amazing to be able to go into the middle and far side of the meadow (you are not allowed to walk in the meadow in the spring, summer, or fall - when there is no snow). So I got some great pictures of our house from the meadow side, and you can see Yosemite Falls behind our house! We are supposed to get another storm this weekend! Can't wait!!!

So in this last picture...you can see Jack about a quarter of the way back to the house. And our house is almost in the middle of the picture...there are three houses that look similar, and ours is the one on the left. This is the picture with Yosemite Falls behind the house!
